B orn out of a love for art and creativity, MacNeeds started its work in 1994, where everything was very different.
It sounds like grandfather talk, but with the speed that technology is going, 20 years ago is the same time as caves for many. Time without www was like this: almost an artisan's job. Fax, photolithography, lightbox, slide show, hand scanner, strip, past up, chrome, development, film camera, photometer, plate, and recording.From the agency to the photolith it was a journey in the early hours, taking files on diskettes and SyQuests and other gadgets. Nobody had a CD recorder or internet and finding something from the Apple brand was a millionaire thing. But it was like that, making notes on the typewriter, spending the night in the newspaper's graphic park, sleeping at receptions, and having to take printed layouts in the hands of the clients that we grew up in the world of advertising. It was much more difficult than we imagined ...
But in all the work, and long before we did, one thing was essential: good ideas. We are the likeness of a creative God, and everyone has the power to create and reinvent. Our job is to make this gift useful to our clients and their customers. An idea has the power to change a life, a speech can redirect history and, a creation can be the way out to restore a nation.
What we once saw as just brands, today we understand as a means of transforming a society. Just as Lego changed Denmark and Victor Inox lifted Switzerland out of poverty, brands can have the power to generate prosperity, wealth, culture, quality of life, employment, movement in the market, and benefits for employees and partners as well as for those who use their products and services.This expanded view is what changes the focus of our day-to-day lives. Each new account is also a potential new source of improving living conditions for many people.
The Manifesto on the creation of wealth says that it must be shared, we must help each other. But it also says that there is no wealth to be shared if it is not generated beforehand.
For all these reasons, our daily exercise is to work with the creation, development, positioning, and maintenance of brands. When we help a brand/company to grow, we do not aim to only do business, but to be participants in movements and actions that impact lives for the better.If a company is doing well, its employees can work and support their families. And if people work, they can afford to buy what they need. And if they buy what they need is someone who is selling ... this is how the cycle starts to work well for everyone. As in Ephesians: '' everybody, adapting and united by the help of all the joints, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part performs its function ''. MacNeeds remains active for 25 years because people and companies have trusted us with their brands, image, products, and communication. And we are grateful to each one of them. We hope to continue to repay our best efforts for those who are and those to come.
